Our li’l homie Ethan Morgan has just been hooked up by the guys at Bataleon Snowboards. As they’d say… Yeahforit!
We’ve known Ethan since he was a nipper and watched him progress from a dorky grommet with potential into a dorky rookie with mad skills and a bafflingly hot missus. Check out his little online part he knocked together last year, or pick up one of the recent Isenseven movies for a closer look at his bang bangs. Now he’s been hooked up with Bataleon snowboards onto their Global Team. And both parties are hyped.
“We are stoked to announce that we’ve signed 2 years with German/American ripper Ethan Morgan at our office in Amsterdam yesterday,” said Mr B. “Ethan has been on our radar for a while now. He had a strong video part and we saw him ride really well at several events last year.”
He sure did – he stepped it up in front of a big crowd of Germans at the Air&Style to kick out Iouri Podladtchikov despite our predictions that the pressure would get to him. And dang that kid has bags of style to boot – in amongst all the double dipping 10s and switch back 12s he’s maybe got the nicest back rodeo 7 tail poker since Koski. Or Peetu, perhaps.
Before he signed, he first tested Tripe Base and he was stoked about the benefits of camber while still being lose, catchfree and playful. “I can hit big kickers and ride streetrails on the same board because of TBT,” says Ethan, “takes a few runs to get used to but I’m now so stoked about it!”
