Apologies if your TWIS posts appear to be slightly fragmentary. However, we are trying hard to put out a lot of other stuff (like a print mag) at the same time. And February/March is travel time for most of us. So if you have been looking for last week’s This Week in Snowboarding: Don’t. It doesn’t exist. But here’s our new one. Have fun!
Niko Cioffi’s full part from F’It drops on TWSnow. 7sky has a nice Ashley Barker portfolio. Then there were the Eastern Snowboard League finals. The Riddle Me This teaser is alright. NoBoard races are a lot of fun. Mystery District’s Ghostland Teaser looks solid.
Sammi Spiteri is a good rider:
ESPN enlighten us with an article on green energy in ski resorts. Think Thank does some Brighton park laps. TWSnow posts Sunday in the Park episode 12. We don’t know what the Snowboard Jamboree was – but Slash Magazine have a video of it.
The Burn River Jump went down in Livigno. We also have the highlights of the Pyrenees Rookie Fest. The Nitro crew shreds Ruka and talks about Hitler. True Color score true Japanese pow (and so does Dave Short). Jonas Hagström and Miikka Hast are living the Protest dream. The Sean Blactivist episodes are sick. The Videograss crew have interesting lives. The Doodah crew checks the Swiss Brigels park. The Fisheye Fridays went to Northstar, and so did FunBlock. And a stupid skier falls off a cliff.
Devun Walsh and Iikka Backström launch a new web show called Polar Opposites:
Torstein Horgmo’s epic DC part drops. The French event Poney Session creates the weirdest teaser, ever. Our English ed invents the Tuesday Time Machine. First post: Creates of Habit 2. Russian Snowboarders need no landings. The Nike 6.0 x Air&Style x VBS clip is pretty good. The Dangerzone goes wakesnowboarding. The Minnesota 5 Trix Fix is better than its name. Yobeat shows an alternative to expensive air bags and foam pits. Then there has been a Red Bull Butter Cup, and some weirdos reinvent cross-country-skiing.
We have Rip Curl’s Welcome Home II full movie:
Gerome Mathieu’s online video part is also quite good. Torstein Horgmo and Deadlung battle it out in a Game of Face. Red Bull converts a football stadium into a jib park. The Academy team is on fire. Ero One sessions Crans Montana. Voilà: Mountain High Drive In episode 6. Aaron Draplin is a badass designer. Hana Beaman continues her P.S. web show with a trip to J-Hole.
Stale Sandbech is so popular, he has entire film crews follow him on days on end:
Sadly, Mammoth gets more powder than Europe. One Life Wednesdays no. 4 is out. Stitched Up Clipped Up is a jib-heavy teaser from the US East Coast. Mark McMorris stomps a back 1440 triple-c (no video, though). We give away a bunch of Rusty hoodies. The Mustachio has a nice Bear Mountain clip. The Arbor team goes Mountain High. The last Tuesday at Loon Mountain was a good one ferr sherr. Yo Breezy is a fairly good teaser for whatever it is.
Antti Autti shreds Japanese pow. Dinosaurs Will Die shred it away at Snoqualmie. Yobeat posts the Do It Right teaser straight from Upstate NY, and a good snowboard clip that features a Beach Boys song. Ben Bilocq’s part from Videograss gets re-released.
That’s all for now. Have a good one and don’t kill yourself!
