TUPAC – Live at the House of Blues

Death Row/Eagle Records/Starkult

‘Tupac – Live At The House of Blues’ captures Tupac’s last recorded performance on 4 July 1996 alongside his Death Row camp: Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, The Outlaws, Tha Dogg Pound and K-Ci & J JoJo. This comes out both on CD and DVD, so make sure you get the full set for one of the greatest examples of gangsta rap. The track listing in itself is a flashback to some of the best moments of 90s hip-hop. So take one last ride with hits like ‘So Many Tears’ and ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ where both his tenderness and ruggedness as man and artist are exposed. While there are other DVDs about Tupac out, this is the first that is not biographical, but simply shows him in his true element: performing. For anyone that loves Tupac Shakur, finally there is a little piece of his legacy for us to hold on to.
