The new Nixon Delta watches are the first snowboard specific triple sensor watches with custom digital movement, compass and altimeter functions. The clever time-piece also has runs and elevation tracking thanks to a swiss barometric pressure sensor, slope sensor and speed sensor. With the turn of a dial you can easily access all the different functions.
By rotating the bezel to “Time” the watch functions as a standard Nixon digital watch with time, date, dual time, countdown timer and alarm modes.
To get your day really started, rotate the bezel to “Runs” where you select your terrain in order to record your day on the mountain. Go to reports mode to see your total number of runs, total vertical ridden and average vertical per run. Records are selected from a list by the date of your shredding event. In the compass function, you will calibrate the compass and set your reference altitude in order to track your current direction and altitude. And with the “Speed” function you can use the built-in slope sensor to detect the current pitch of the slope you are about to ride down and calculate your speed while you’re bombing down the mountain accordingly.
All for a bargainous 299 Euros.
