10-Expensive-snowboards

It’s funny how your sense of scale changes isn’t it? I’m sure we’ve all found ourselves in the same position at a store or online: you’re buying a new piece of kit and you think to yourself “well it’s not quite within my budget, but it is half the price of that one over there”. Next thing you know, the receipt’s in your back pocket and you’re out the door…

Well if you’re in the market for a new board and you don’t fancy becoming victim of the above, let’s call it, ‘budget stretching’, you might not want to carry on reading. The boards that follow are probably a fair bit more expensive than your average buy. This might not mean you’ll be tempted to spend your kids’ college fund on them, but it will mean that anything else you look at seems like a bargain! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

If, on the other hand, you just want to peek at some of the most over the top, tech-stuffed, whale-tusk-reinforced boards ever produced, well, keep on readin’ brother:

you cannot compare a semi industrial board that costs maybe 500 euros to produce and sells 3000 euros to a board that really costs 2500 euros to produce ( 50-60 working hours on each board)…Godess is marketing, miura is real craftmanship..maybe you haven’t seen one in real!

I’d definitely check out The Whip!
