Our bromies at Nitro caught up with their Swedish rocker Anton Gunnarsson the other day to talk Isenseven, Pro model gear, and filming for the new Nitro movie amongst other tidbits. Check out what the man has to say…
What’s up Anton? Where you’re at and what’s the plan?
I’m back home to take care of some new samples of my signature Caps for Flat Fitty, yay! I’ve been doing some street shootings down south in Sweden for a couple of days now…
Nice one! What happened there?
Damn, I hate to jinx stuff too much… but I can say that I got some new shizzle on video hehe
We saw the new Isenseven video “Let´s go get lost”. You must have been stoked as you got the opening part in the video…
Hellz yeah! I did not see that coming at all… And I also got the tune I wanted from Hardcore Superstar, stoked! Too bad that I missed the Munich premiere, I missed it only by some hours! Sitting on an Airplane back home from me and the missus holiday in Bali! I heard it was a sick party!
Where can we watch the part?
Man, you can go buy the DVD it’s awesome! Or just check some ugly rip on youtube huh!
We also heard that you got some Signature stuff coming up, what’s up with that?
Dude, I am not the “typical” snowboarder, if you know what I mean. I always try to rock it in other directions as well! In style and with my connection with rock n roll, metal music and brands that are focusing on artists and bands like DropDead clothing , Lowlife and Macbeth footwear. That is how I roll! Here is a little update on what the hell I’ve been working on lately (Pro model/signature stuff)…
FlatFitty headwear: They launched my own Signature collection some months ago! I got two Signature design Snapback caps out and one beanie in the sample room… All of this will be in stores soon, that is awesome!
LOWLIFE: For A/W collection 2010 im getting Pro model/signature design Belt and t-shirt by Lowlife of London! The designs are ready and the first samples has arrived… just stay tuned for the Limited edition Tee/belt box to drop in stores! www.lowlife.com
Im pretty much working my ass off when im not shredding the gar on my board. I got a million things in the air… That is how I roll and get things done!
Okay, back to riding. You are one of the rookies filming for the Nitro movie. Tell us a little bit more about that.
Yeah, I think that project will be off the heezzay! It’s kind of an International team video , not the normal “Promo” videos that they use to have every year. This will be serious and all the riders are filming for their own parts! It will be legen … wait for it… dary!
Where will you be going with the Nitro crew and who will you be riding with?
I’ve been filming a lot by myself in the beginning of the season. Lonely wolf! But later on I will shred some street missions with the US dudes up north in Sweden! Also hanging out with my other Nitro bros at the Team apartment in Montafon! Pretty cool to have a place to stay and the Nitro FIAT QUBO cars to drive where ever we want to! It’s beyond awesome!
Any preferred snowboarders to hang out with and shoot?
The Swedish Nitro dudes are friggin great! Like one happy family, hah!
Thinking about your part… did you set yourself any goals? Any tricks you are working on?
Only backflips!! Nah, rock ‘n’ roll man! A lot of creative snowboarding… you will see!
