With this trick, you should already have done many fronside 3’s over kickers (knowing how to approach the kicker and initiate a rotation).

Take more speed than with the frontside 180 to sw 50-50, and don’t butter off the kicker too much, otherwise you will lose crucial speed to gap the rail.

In the air, keep your head turned to keep spinning. You will be able to focus on where you want to land on the rail for 180 degrees.

Then it gets a little tricky as you are going blindside for the last 90 degrees. As you spin look to it that the axis of the spin corresponds with the angle of the down rail, since you want to land flatbased on it.

If you land on the toe edge, the board will slip out underneath you. You land on your heel edge, it will be carnage. Try to land centered on your board and keep your knees bent to cushion the landing on the rail and for balance.

Keep your head turned and you will complete spinning the last 90 degrees on the rail and land regular again.

Ride it out and be stoked!
