While at ISPO a few weeks back (the snowboard industry’s European trade show where the brands showcase their freshest product for the following winter), we had our eager intern criss-crossing the hallowed halls grabbing a few minutes with each of the brands to get run through their key items of on-mountain goodness for next season. Up first is ThirtyTwo, and our boy Dale running us through the bangers from their kick-ass outerwear and boot range.
Famed for making some of the lightest snowboard footwear on the planet, the ThirtyTwo guys branched out into outerwear a couple of seasons back which succeeded in a crowded marketplace thanks to their attention to tech qualities while bringing their own individual style to the table. Up first is their new Repel range of softgoods – hoodies and jeans with a water-reppellent treatment that goes beyond your regular DWR coating for when you want to shred street-style. Then there’s the technical 20/10K Merc jacket (which steps in for the Mobb from last season) that ticks all the boxes for riders wanting full-on all-weather performance from their outerwear, with some slick details. Finally there’s the team favourite TeamTwo boot, which is light as ever, comfortable as ever and for next season comes with a late 80s Jordan-esque style.
Check it out.
